Fifty-four percent of Nebraska’s corn crop has dented

Nebraska’s corn crop was 54 percent dented, as of Sunday, compared to 66 percent normal. One percent of the crop was mature. Corn condition rated 77 percent good to excellent.

One percent of soybeans were dropping leaves, compared to the 10 percent average. Soybeans rated 79 percent good to excellent.

Sorghum coloring was 27 percent, well behind the 67 average. Sorghum rated 87 percent good to excellent.

Pasture and range conditions rated 85 percent good to excellent.
