Farm Progress Show in Iowa for the first time since 2018

Farm Progress Show returns to Boone, Iowa for the first time since 2018 and gets underway tomorrow.

Farm Progress Show Manager Matt Jungmann says farmers can expect some changes after the event was cancelled in 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic. “For everybody that typically comes to a Boone Farm Progress Show, the place is going to look a lot different with a lot of changes in the ag industry with a lot more autonomy and a lot of mergers and acquisitions that have happened in the industry, the exhibit field has quite a different look.”

He tells Brownfield even though some companies have consolidated, new technology and equipment will be on display. “A lot of these sister companies with the same ownership moving together to put together a united front.  You have new entrants like the Ag Guru that’s a stirp till company.  There are a lot of changes and additions to the event.”

Brownfield will be on the ground in Boone this week and check back each day for coverage.
