Farm Progress Show and Husker Harvest Days cancelled

The 2020 Farm Progress Show and Husker Harvest Days have been cancelled because of the rapidly changing conditions related to COVID-19.

The announcement comes about a week and half after show management confirmed it would take place with increased health and safety measures.

While there was support for both events, Farm Progress Events Manager Matt Jungmann said more than half of the US saw a spike in new cases of COVID-19 shortly after the commitment to hold both farm shows.

A virtual experience is in the works.

The Farm Progress Show was scheduled for September 1-3 in Boone, Iowa. Husker Harvest Days was scheduled for September 15-17 in Grand Island, Nebraska.
