Fall tillage in Minnesota begins as harvest is wrapped up

Farmers across Minnesota have wrapped up harvest.

According to the latest crop progress condition report, growers had more than 5 days suitable for field work for fall tillage.

Topsoil moisture is 87 percent adequate to surplus.

Subsoil moisture  is 78 percent adequate to surplus.
