Enlist E3 soybeans clear final hurdle

Enlist E3 soybeans have cleared their final international regulatory hurdle.

Corteva Agriscience and MS Technologies announced Thursday that the Philippines has approved the technology. That means farmers can plant Enlist E3 soybeans this spring and won’t have to worry about keeping the harvested beans out of export markets in the fall.

Supply constraints are expected to limit plantings of the Enlist E3 soybeans in 2019, however.

Enlist E3 is the first soybean with resistance to three popular weed chemicals – 2,4-D, glyphosate and glufosinate.
