Duvall: people trust farmers
The leader of the nation’s largest general farm organization says people have confidence in farmers. American Farm Bureau Federation President Zippy Duvall tells Brownfield surveys taken during the pandemic indicate trust for farm producers.
“And that trust level has continued to rise during the pandemic because everybody saw those empty shelves in March,” Duvall told Brownfield Ag News. “We at American Farm Bureau started #StillFarming that has touched over a million people and went through 90 different countries.”
The survey results, said Duvall, make it more important than ever that farmers tell their stories.
