Dairy on offense ahead of UN Summit

The National Milk Producers Federation is educating about the benefits of dairy in a sustainable food system ahead of the United Nations Food Systems Pre-Summit.

NMPF says the event could lead to policy changes around the globe in the name of producing healthy food more sustainably and responsibly and is concerned about the potential impact of anti-animal-agriculture activists.

NMPF says there’s no ‘one-size-fits-all food system but rules to matter as trade builds healthy diets.  They are calling for rules-based trade which supports science-based ideas and approaches.

Since 2007, dairy farmers have reduced their carbon footprint, water and land usage, and are striving to become net-zero by 2050 or sooner.
