Corn and soybean planting are nearly wrapped up in Indiana.

Ninety-four percent of the state’s corn crop is emerged, and 66 percent is rated good to excellent.

Soybeans are 94 percent planted and 85 percent emerged. The crop is rated 67 percent good to excellent.

Ninety-six percent of the winter wheat crop is headed, and 28 percent is mature.

The first cutting of alfalfa hay is 88 percent complete and the first cutting of other hay is 80 percent complete.
