Corn emergence and soybean planting ahead in Missouri

Corn emergence is slightly ahead of the five-year average in Missouri at 94 percent, with 52 percent rated good to excellent.

Soybeans planted are ahead of last year up to 78 percent.

Eighty-two percent of the cotton crop is planted, 2 percent behind last year.

Rice planted is ahead of a year ago and 54 percent is rated good or better.

Winter wheat harvested is ahead of last year at 14 percent.
