Conservation funding available in Southwest Michigan

The USDA says Michigan farmers in the St. Joseph River watershed have until May 18 to sign up for conservation funding.

USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service says funding is available through the Regional Conservation Partnership Program to help farmers implement conservation practices to improve water quality.

Farmers in Branch, Cass, St. Joseph and portions of Berrien, Calhoun, Hillsdale, Kalamazoo, and Van Buren counties are eligible to apply.
