CNH plant in Nebraska to suspend production

The Case New Holland (CNH) combine plant at Grand Island, Nebraska is suspending production because of the coronavirus outbreak.

CNH officials say plant operations will be suspended at the end of the day Thursday and the situation will be evaluated on a weekly basis. They did not say whether any plant employees have tested positive for COVID-19.

Grand Island has seen a surge in coronavirus cases over the past week.  It was reported late last week that ten employees of the JBS beef plant in Grand Island had tested positive for the virus.  JBS officials said they planned to keep operating the plant as close to normal as possible.
