Chinn says Mexico excited about USMCA

Missouri’s Ag Director who was on the recent USDA trade mission to Mexico says that country looking forward to a completed USMCA.

Chris Chinn tells Brownfield Ag News, “Mexico is ready. They’re excited about the new opportunity. They can’t wait for it to get signed. They were encouraging all of us to pass that word along to Washington, D.C.”

Chinn says the U.S./Mexico relationship is very important to agriculture, “We’re great partners and they enjoy the relationship. And they’re excited to just start moving forward. We were excited to hear that and we are definitely passing that message along.”

Mexico ratified the trade agreement in June.
