China trade deal pushed at least into June

It appears a meeting between President Trump and China’s President Xi might not happen until at least June.

Various media outlets report the creation of a possible enforcement system to hold China accountable is a sticking point.

There was hope for a March deal at President Trump’s Florida resort, which was pushed into April.  The South China Morning News over the weekend said a meeting could now be delayed into June.

Stocks started the day mixed to slightly higher as anxiety over an end of the trade war hangs over the market.
