China biggest weekly buyer of beef

The USDA says export sales showed week to week improvements for several major commodities.

Pork was up modestly on the week with Mexico leading the way, while beef was sharply higher and more than half of the total was to China.

China was also the leading buyer of soybeans, while corn sales dipped as it continues to see slower than anticipated demand from China, which has reportedly been relying on Ukraine.

Rice and sorghum sales notched marketing year highs.

The USDA’s next set of supply and demand estimates is out December 9th.
