The National Corn Growers Association has named its new CEO.

Neil Caskey, the organization’s Vice President of Communications will start the new role on Monday, February 27th. He succeeds John Doggett who stepped down from the position the end of 2022 after 20 years of service.

Caskey says he looks forward to leading an organization he is passionate about and pushing for wins on top issues like the Next Generation Fuels Act, fighting Mexico’s ban on GMO corn and securing reauthorization of the farm bill.

NCGA President Tom Haag says the board is certain Caskey will “usher in new ideas an take the organization to new heights.”

Prior to Caskey’s role at NCGA he served as executive vice president at OBP Agency. He has also worked for the American Soybean Association and as a legislative aide to a member of Congress.
