Burger’s Smokehouse closes through April 30

Burger’s Smokehouse of California, in central Missouri, has decided to close operations again, this time through the end of April. The company says 21 employees have now been confirmed with COVID-19. Burger’s closed down last week for five days when 3 cases were reported out of 300 employees and reopened Monday. Burger’s is the largest producer of country hams in the U.S. The company says it will continue with some shipping and receiving.
