Biden makes key regional appointments to USDA

President Biden has made key appointments to several USDA regional leadership positions.

He has appointed three USDA Farm Service Agency executive directors in Missouri (Joe Aull), Nebraska (John Berge) and Kentucky (Dean Schamore) and two state Rural Development leaders for Montana, New Hampshire and Vermont.

Biden has also appointed Edward “Ted” James as Region 6 administrator of the Small Business Administration. Region six includes Arkansas.

The White House says the regional appointees “will be critical to the President’s efforts to rebuild communities most impacted by the pandemic, the economic recovery, and climate change.”
