Biden considering summertime sales of E15
U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley is pleased the Biden administration is considering summertime sales of E15.
“Praise the Lord. The President has said he’d look at every tool to lower gas prices, praise the Lord. This is a commonsense proposal that will deliver immediate results.”
The Iowa Republican says Biden could issue an executive order to lift restrictions on E15 sales between June 1st and September 15th.
“When you start filling up at the gas (pump), E15 is clearly the cheaper option. The President needs to act soon before this lower-cost fuel option is halted by EPA.”
Grassley encourages the administration to permanently remove E15 barriers because he says it drives down fuel costs and is better for the environment.
Grassley made these comments during his weekly call with reporters Tuesday morning.
