Bayer to host global Youth Ag Summit in 2019

Bayer Crop Science is searching for the next Youth Ag Summit delegation.

Cory Wightman, Director of External Communications at Bayer says 100 participants worldwide will be chosen as delegates for the summit.

“We will be selecting delegates from the United States, from the ages between 18 and 25, who have a passion for food and agriculture.”

She says applicants should have innovative ideas and a desire to showcase them on a global level.

Wightman tells Brownfield that farmers can benefit from the summit too.

“From a grower’s perspective, they are that next generation that is going to be fueling innovation, who is going to continue to help champion sustainable agriculture. We need their ideas.”

The Youth Ag Summit will be held in Brazil in November 2019. Applications are due January 10th.
