Bayer temporarily closes some sites over coronavirus concerns

Bayer temporarily closed its Creve Coeur, Missouri offices after a local employee showed symptoms of the coronavirus. In media reports, the company said it was doing precautionary cleaning at the Creve Coeur site, as well as at another site in downtown St. Louis and two in New Jersey. The temporary closure also affects the company’s Climate Corporation facility at Creve Coeur.

The Bayer employee at Creve Coeur was being tested for coronavirus, although Bayer says the case was unconfirmed as of Monday afternoon.
