Bayer names leadership team in the event of merger approval

Bayer has named its leadership team in the event it’s merger with Monsanto is approved. Bayer says it is hopeful the deal will pass all needed regulatory requirements to wrap up by the end of June.

The executive leadership team of the combined company will be led by Bayer’s Liam Condon who is president of the company’s crop science division in Germany.

Monsanto Chairman and CEO Hugh Grant will step down at the close of the acquisition having worked for Monsanto for 35 years. Monsanto’s chief technology officer Rob Fraley will also leave shortly after the close of the merger.
