“Back to the Basics” of the Beef Checkoff

Cattlemen’s Beef Board CEO Greg Hanes says he’s taking a “back to the basics” approach to telling the story of the Beef Checkoff.  

Haines says the checkoff and the beef industry have been targeted and that’s one of the reasons they’re highlighting the checkoff – why it is a necessity, what it can and can’t do, and who makes those decisions. 

Haines says they’ve also launched some new advertisements, reminding consumers why beef is so good.
