Arkansas ended 2019 warm and wet

The USDA says December was a wet month for Arkansas, with much warmer than normal temperatures during the last week of the month.

The state’s winter wheat crop started 2020 ranging from fair to above average and fieldwork was scarce because of the late end to the 2019 harvest.

Many livestock producers have reportedly started feeding hay to cattle.
