Another week of declining crop conditions in Kansas

Despite a week of cooler weather with mixed showers, Kansas crops are struggling from excessive drought.

The USDA says corn is rated at 26 percent good-to-excellent with 94 percent silking.

Soybean condition is rated at 31 percent good-to-excellent with 67 percent setting pods.

Sorghum is rated at 26 percent good-to-excellent with less than three-quarters headed.

21 percent of cotton is rated good-to-excellent.

Pasture and range conditions are 12 percent good-to-excellent.
