Angie Craig given Growth Energy award

Growth Energy has presented Minnesota Congresswoman Angie Craig its 2019 Fueling Growth award.

Growth Energy CEO Emily Skor (score) calls the freshman Democrat a champion for the biofuels industry since her first day in Congress.

Craig, a member of the House Agriculture Committee, says she’s honored by the recognition and that she will continue to fight to end the Trump Administration’s practice of handing out small refinery waivers.

Among the reasons Growth Energy says it chose Craig for the award was her co-sponsorship of the Biodiesel Tax Credit Extension of 2019.
