Analyst: changing weather puts remaining corn in jeopardy

Market analyst Dale Durchholz says changing weather causes concern in the marketplace about harvest completion.  He tells Brownfield snowfall in the northern Cornbelt could put the remaining corn crop in jeopardy.

“So now you start to worry about stalk degradation and maybe additional field losses in the mix in here with the rest of the harvest that we have to do yet,” Durchholz told Brownfield Ag News.  “I think at this particular point in time there are a lot of questions about corn.”

Durchholz, with AgriVisor in Bloomington, Illinois, provides regular market commentary for Brownfield Ag News.
