Ag groups launch virtual Town Hall series

Eight ag groups are launching a series of virtual Town Hall discussions this summer.

AgTalks was formed by Farmers for Free trade, National Milk Producers Federation, Corn Refiners Association, National Corn Growers Association, National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA), Iowa Soybeans Association, Minnesota AgriGrowth, and Plant Based Products Council.

In the absence of in-person state fairs, conventions, and farms shows, the virtual Town Hall series will focus on the challenges US agriculture faces on trade, international supply chains and global competitiveness. They will be led by ag leaders in Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

The tentative schedule is Iowa on July 30, Minnesota on August 6, Michigan on august 13, and Pennsylvania on August 27. Wisconsin’s date hasn’t been scheduled yet.
