Ag businesses commit to Michigan FFA Plate Challenge
Michigan agricultural organizations are challenging businesses and farmers to support the Michigan FFA Foundation through a plate pledge.
Chair Burt Henry says the FFA Ag Heritage License Plate program has raised more than one million dollars over the past 20 years and has the goal to raise another million in the next decade.
“The foundation’s main purpose is to raise funds to support agricultural education and FFA in Michigan,” he says.
“Their company has converted their license plates on their fleet vehicles to the FFA Ag Heritage License Plate,” he says.
GreenStone Farm Credit Service also announced a $25,000 commitment to the Michigan FFA Foundation during the first day of sessions.
