A conversation with Bayer’s new president of crop science

Dr. Jacqueline Applegate stepped into her role as president of Crop Science North America for Bayer on March 1.  Applegate will head the commercial performance of the Crop Science Division in the US and Canada, including the Roundup business. 

Applegate has a Ph.D. in organic chemistry and previously served as the head of Global Vegetable Seeds & Environmental Science. 

Brett Begemann, Chief Operating Officer for Bayer Crop Science says Applegate is a strong leader and has successfully guided teams through change and transformation. 

Dr. Jeremy Williams has been named the head of The Climate Corporation and Digital Farming.  He will step into that role on March 15th
