95% of Indiana corn is harvested

The USDA says the 2022 harvest season is winding down in Indiana.

Ninety-five percent of the state’s corn crop is harvested, ahead of the one-year and five-year averages.

Forty-nine percent of the topsoil moisture and 42 percent of the subsoil moisture is adequate to surplus.

Eighty-six percent of the winter wheat crop has emerged, and 63 percent is rated good to excellent.
