92% of Ohio corn is harvested

The USDA says harvest advanced in Ohio as freezing weather arrived.  

Ninety-two percent of the state’s corn crop is harvested, ahead of the one-year and five-year averages.

Fifty percent of the topsoil moisture and 48 percent of the subsoil moisture is adequate to surplus.

Ninety-three percent of the winter wheat crop has emerged, and 58 percent is rated good to excellent.
