87% of Ohio corn, 96% of soybeans harvested

Farmers are still wrapping up harvest in Ohio.

Eighty-seven percent of the state’s corn crop is harvested. Soybean harvest is 96 percent complete.

The USDA says winter wheat emerged was virtually complete, ahead of the five-year average. The crop is rated 72 percent good to excellent.
