83% of U.S. soybeans, 65% of corn harvested

This year’s U.S. soybean harvest has pulled even with average, while corn remains behind schedule.

As of Sunday, 83% of soybeans are harvested, compared to 70% a week ago, 85% a year ago and the five year average of 83%.

65% of corn is harvested, compared to 46% last week, 71% last year and 73% on average.

90% of winter wheat is planted, compared to 89% on average, and 77% has emerged, compared to 72% on average. 59% of the winter wheat crop is rated good to excellent, unchanged on the week.
