76% of Ohio corn, 68% of soybeans rated good to excellent

The USDA says a dry week allowed farmers to harvest wheat and cut hay last week Ohio.

As of Sunday, 94 percent of winter wheat is harvested, a little behind the one-year and five-year average.  

The state’s corn conditions remained stable with 76 percent of the crop rated in good to excellent condition.

Sixty-eight percent of soybeans are rated good to excellent.
