73% of Indiana corn, soybeans are in good to excellent condition

The USDA says crop conditions remained stable despite varying soil moisture levels last week in Indiana.

According to the latest crop progress and condition report, 73 percent of the state’s corn crop is in good to excellent condition. Ninety-six percent has emerged.  

Ninety-six percent of soybeans in Indiana are planted, and 88 percent of the crop has emerged. Seventy-three percent of soybeans are in good to excellent condition. 

Seventy-seven percent of winter wheat is rated good to excellent.
