73% of Indiana corn, 70% of soybeans are in good to excellent condition

The USDA says consistent rains helped crop growth but slowed wheat harvests in Indiana last week.

According to the latest crop progress and condition report, 73 percent of the state’s corn crop is in good to excellent condition.

Seventy percent of soybeans are rated good to excellent.

Forty-four percent of winter wheat is harvested, and 78 percent of the crop is in good to excellent condition.
