66% of Ohio corn, soybeans rated good to excellent

The USDA says storms delivered timely moisture to crops last week in Ohio.

The state’s corn and soybean crops are rated 66 percent good to excellent.  

Winter wheat is rated 60 percent good to excellent with 55 percent of the crop mature and one percent harvested.

The second cutting of alfalfa hay is 25 percent complete, and the second cutting of other hay is 11 percent complete.
