63% of Indiana corn and soybeans rated good to excellent

The USDA reports that another hot and dry week raised drought concerns for farmers in Indiana last week.

Corn and soybean conditions ratings declined slightly with 63 percent of both crops being rated good to excellent.

Ninety-four percent of corn is in the dough stage, 52 percent is dented, and eight percent of the crop is mature. 

Ninety-five percent of soybeans are setting pods and 7 percent are dropping leaves.
