63% of Indiana corn, 65% of soybeans rated good to excellent 

The USDA says timely rains aided in maintaining crop conditions last week in Indiana.

Sixty-three percent of Indiana’s corn crop is in good to excellent condition, with 81 percent silking, and 24 percent at the dough making stage.

Sixty-five percent of soybeans are rated good to excellent, with 75 percent blooming, and 40 percent at the pod setting stage.

Pasture conditions improved slightly with 51 percent of pastures rated in good to excellent condition.
