50% of Missouri corn crop planted

Missouri farmers have planted half of the state’s corn crop which is behind the average pace of more than 60%. Fifteen percent of corn has emerged.

Soybean planting is a bit a head of normal at 10% complete as of Sunday. Two-percent has emerged.

Cotton planting is way behind average at only three-percent complete. Rice planting is ahead at 65% in the ground.

More than half of the winter wheat crop is in good to excellent condition. About 30% has emerged.
