4% of Ohio corn, 13% of soybeans harvested

The USDA says dry weather continued in Ohio last week.

As of Sunday, four percent of corn has been harvested. Forty-six percent of the crop is mature, and 49 percent is rated good to excellent.

Thirteen percent of soybeans in Ohio are harvested, ahead of both the one-year and five-year average. Seventy-five percent of the crop is dropping leaves and 55 percent is rated good to excellent.

Fourteen percent of the winter wheat crop is planted.
