30% of Ohio soybeans, 15% of corn harvested

The USDA says cool and dry conditions helped spur harvest progress last week in Ohio.

As of Sunday, 30 percent of soybeans are harvested, with 92 percent dropping leaves, and 65 percent rated good to excellent.

Fifteen percent of the state’s corn crop is harvested, with 96 percent dented and 71 percent mature. Sixty-five percent of the crop is rated good to excellent.
