3% of Indiana corn, 2% of soybean planted

Planting is underway in Indiana, according to the latest USDA Crop Progress and Condition report.

Three percent of the state’s corn crop is planted, ahead of the one- and five-year averages.

Two percent of soybeans are planted.  

Seventy-seven percent of the winter wheat crop is rated good to excellent.
