18 Michigan John Deere stores now Hutson

Two Michigan John Deere dealerships with a combined 18 stores have been acquired by Kentucky-based Hutson, Inc., more than doubling the company’s reach.

Bader and Sons Co. was first established in St. Louis, Michigan in 1988 and since expanded to ten locations including in Grand Ledge, Linwood, Portland, Tecumseh, South Lyon, Big Rapids, Lake City, and West Branch.

D & G Equipment opened two stores in 1993 in Mason and Williamston, Michigan and over time grew to include stores in Corunna, Howell, Highland, Rives Junction, Charlotte, and Rosebush.

Hutson Inc. began as a seed and fertilizer store in the late ‘20s in Murray, Kentucky, and has grown to 30 locations across Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee, and now Michigan.  The rebrand is effective immediately.
