14% of Indiana corn, 9% of soybeans planted

Cool and wet conditions continued in Indiana last week, according to the latest USDA crop progress and condition report.

Fourteen percent of the state’s corn crop is planted, compared to 16 percent last year. Two percent of the crop has emerged.

Nine percent of soybeans in Indiana are planted.

Seventy percent of winter wheat is rated good to excellent.
