10% of Ohio corn, 7% of soybeans planted

Fieldwork and some planting continued in Ohio last week.

Corn is 10 percent planted and soybeans are 7 percent planted. The USDA says corn planting was ahead of last year but behind the five-year average while soybean planting was ahead of last year and the five-year average.

Oats are 67 percent planted and 36 percent emerged.
