Veterans Day dairy markets mixed

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mixed to close the week on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

November Class III milk was up $0.02 at $20.98.  December was up $0.05 at $21.58.  January was down $0.05 at $20.79.  February was down $0.03 at $20.55.  March through October contracts ranged from ten cents lower in March to eighteen cents higher in October. 

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.44.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Cheese blocks were up $0.0650 at $2.20.  One sale was recorded at $2.16.

Cheese Barrels were up $0.0225 at $2.0625.  Two sales were recorded at $2.06 and $2.0625.

Butter was unchanged at $2.9050.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.03 at $1.43.  Six sales were recorded from $1.4250 to $1.43.
