Milk futures start week lower, cash dairy mixed

January Class III milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange closed a penny lower at $19.99.  February 17 lower at $19.72.  March down 14 at $19.84.  April through June contracts unchanged to 12 cents lower.

Dry whey unchanged at $0.45.

Blocks down $0.02 at $2.08.

Barrels up $0.05 at $1.9475.  Five trades were made, ranging from $1.9475 to $1.95.

Butter steady at $2.90.

Nonfat dry milk unchanged at $1.36.
