Milk futures lower, cash mixed

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange took back earlier week gains Friday while cash trade turned mixed.

December Class III milk down a dime at $15.35.  January 26 cents lower at $15.72.  February down 13 cents at $16.42.  March five cents lower at $16.70.  April through June contracts four to eight cent lower.

Dry whey up $0.01 at $0.4625.  Two sales were made at $0.46 and $0.4625.

Blocks unchanged at $1.5850. 

Barrels down $0.02 at $1.40.  Three trades were made ranging from $1.3975 to $1.40. 

Butter up $0.0025 at $1.48.  Eight trades were made ranging from $1.44 to $1.46. 

Nonfat dry milk down $0.0075 at $1.15.  Nine trades were made ranging from $1.1375 to $1.15.
