Milk futures higher, cash dairy mixed

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange ended the week higher while cash trade was quietly but mixed.

October Class III milk up six cents at $21.38.  November nine cents higher at $20.92.  December up seven cents at $18.73.  January 10 cents higher at $17.27.  February through April contracts unchanged to three cents higher.

Dry whey unchanged at $0.3875. 

Blocks unchanged at $2.72.

Barrels unchanged at $2.2050. 

Butter down $0.0025 at $1.51.  Three trades were made ranging from $1.51 to $1.5250.

Nonfat dry milk up $0.0025 at $1.14.  One trade was made at that price.
